Fury Volleyball Club of Canton, GA is ushering in a whole new level of Elite Junior Girls Competitive Volleyball, and we are currently seeking a superstar supporting cast, including Directors, coaches, team liaisons, and more. Are you ready for the challenge?
There is currently one (1) Director position available. The ideal prospect will have extensive knowledge of, and personal experience with, the game of volleyball at a minimum of Club or College level. You will handle all aspects of our program within the age groups of 15-18, including recruiting and scholarship operations, managing the coaching staff, float coaching, master coaching, team bonding events and assisting with club philosophy and core value standards. We are looking for a strong, confident personality with the ability to work well with others, and a strong passion for working with our young athletes. Seasonal "Skillz Leagues"
If you are interested in local "in-house only" coaching opportunities, we are always looking for volleyball-intelligent, vibrant coaches for our seasonal Skillz Leagues. Our Skillz Leagues run year round, and are geared toward boys and girls ages 8-18. Players practice twice per week and scrimmage on the weekends.
We are seeking coaches who are coachable and who have a good baseline understanding of the rules and fundamentals of the game through personal experience. Coaches are expected to be open to our Club philosophy and enthusiastic about our core values.
It is critical for all potential applicants to accept Fury Volleyball Club as a REWARDS-based organization, which means that we do not tolerate the yelling at, or the berating of, our players. No exceptions.
All applicants must clear a criminal background check and acquire an AAU membership (if selected, the Fury Volleyball organization will cover the cost of your membership).
Competitive Club Season
Our competitive Club season runs from mid October to June, and it is comprised of players from the ages of 10-18. Coaches who help us run our seasonal Skillz League will have top priority for all available coaching positions in October when our official Club season begins. Our plan is to be one of the most Elite Clubs in Georgia and to compete at the highest level of play, both locally and across the country.
Most of our teams will practice 3 days per week, including speed, agility, strength, and conditioning. Club coaches will be encouraged to assist with the recruiting process, team bonding events, choosing a team mom, and more. We provide local opportunities as well as paid travel opportunities for those who are interested in coaching our National travel teams.
We have head coaching and assistant coaching positions available, and we provide a training & mentorship program for assistant coaches who aspire to become head coaches. All applicants must clear a criminal background check and acquire an AAU membership if selected.
There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes in order to make a competitive volleyball club successful. Additionally, there are many families who would love to be a part of the competitive volleyball scene but simply do not have the financial resources. This is where our Team Liaison program comes into play.
We are currently seeking player-parents to help us run a wide variety of tasks, including sponsorships and fundraising, taking photos and videos of practices and games for film study and to use on our website(s) as promotional materials, handling travel arrangements for our National teams, tournament entry obligations and requirements, think tanks to help us improve our club appeal & performance, and a lot more!
All applicants must clear a criminal background check if selected.
